5 Ways to Improve Your Indoor Golf Practice

Improve your indoor golf practice with five simple tips for warming up, choosing targets, reviewing shot data and building a repeatable routine.

Indoor golf gives you the chance to practise in a comfortable environment while seeing useful information about every shot. A little structure can make each session much more productive.

1. Start With a Proper Warm-Up

Begin with a few easy swings rather than immediately trying to hit the ball as far as possible.

Start with shorter clubs, find a comfortable rhythm and gradually work towards longer shots.

2. Choose One Clear Goal

Avoid trying to fix everything during one practice session.

Choose one area to concentrate on, such as:

- Making cleaner contact - Improving direction - Controlling distance - Practising with a particular club - Building a more consistent routine

A clear goal makes it easier to judge whether your session is helping.

3. Use the Shot Information

The ProTee VX simulator provides useful information including ball speed, club path, launch angle, spin rate and carry distance.

You do not need to study every number. Begin with the information most relevant to the goal of your session and look for patterns across several shots.

4. Practise With Targets

Instead of repeatedly hitting without a plan, choose specific distances or targets.
